Q: My bf and I just came back from Disneyland and loved the pizza at Naples Ristorante in Downtown Disney.Where can we find pizza like that in Chicago? It was thin crispy with very little toppings and cooked in a stone or brick oven. What I imagine real Italian pizza is like.

A: I've recently eaten at both La Madia and A Mano. Both are downtown and serve very thin-crusted, delicious pizzas. Overall, I preferred the pizzas (and the prices!) at La Madia (yummy and creative but not weird-you-out toppings), but the crust at A Mano was thin with a little but deliciously fluffy/chewy crust. It's been a while since I was to Pizzeria Via Stato (really a sectioned-off portion of Osteria Via Stato), which also has delicious thin-crusted and crispy pizzas. I highly recommend this, too--the prices are more reasonable than in Osteria's main dining area, and the food is tasty! I live right by Supparosa and doubt they offer the type of pizza you are searching for. I like their pizza for takeout and delivery, and it does offer thin crust, but their pizzas are not anywhere near as "gourmet" as I suspect you want in this case.
