Q: I'm looking for a Greek restuarant on or near Broadway in Englewood. Addresses are helpful but not necessary. Any help is greatly appreciatted! Thanks! Actually any foreign cuisine restuarant in that area would be nice. Just looking for something that's not hamburgers or pizza, etc. lol.
A: Greek in Denver - try out South Central II by Swedish Hospital at E Hampden and S Pennsylvania (also has a good wine list!). They are more traditional, and there is no way you'll go home hungry! Other great International flavors: Lola at 15th and Boulder St in the Highlands for latin dishes. Cuba Cuba at 12th and Delaware (obviously for Cuban food). Pint Pub at 13th and Bannock has great British food (try the fries and gravy, or the giant crack - sounds silly, but its tasty!). Las Margaritas at 17th and Ogden has yummy Mexican and sneaky margs. Finally, if you're really in the grove of exciting, try out "ehtiopian Restaurant" at Detriot and Colfax for Ethiopian. There is also a place on FAR east Colfax, called Sheba, I think, that has better vegetarian ehtiopian foods. My all time fav, though, is Little Indian off 6th and Logan. Best saag paneer. yum. yum!
