Q: you know how England is known for fish and chips, New York has the hotdogs, and Louisiana has the Cajun foods? Well is there any all around favorite foods and drinks that people in Colorado HAVE to have? Only reason for asking is because I had to create a character for my creative writing class and I made a 58 year old man from Denver and I need a favorite food and drink and all the personality stuff.

A: I would agree with the Green Chili comments, but not everyone eats meat around here. Chili rellenos smothered with green chili seems to be a great Colorado dish! Some great places to have some great Colorado Green Chili would be: -Las Delicias (located all around town) -La Loma Restaurant at 2527 W 26th -Little Anita's (Although this is more New Mexican Food, it is pretty good) -Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant (Great for Margaritas and rellenos and located in a few spots around town) -Blue Bonnet Cafe & Lounge on Broadway and I25 (also popular for their margaritas, but good for the green chili too) -Santiago's Mexican Restaurant (Located all around town has some killer green chili) Hopefully this might also give you some ideas of some spots to put your character into. Have fun! -Dex
