Q: I'm talking: hummus, taboli, baba ganoush, schwarema, and beef and chicken? And why do you like it so much or favorite dish?

A: You can get most of those in any number of cuisine restaurants in Houston. You can even get them at Dimassi's buffet. (The owners are Palestinian.) If you want a great schwarma try Cafe Lili on Westheimer. If you want a more Persian flair try PawPaw or Kasra (also on Westheimer). If you want something closer to Turkish try Empire Turkish Grill on Memorial. Note: While I have shopped at Phoenicia many times (most recently on 8/16), I've never tried their deli. I have tried the deli at Droubi's on Hillcroft and liked it.
