Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Houston? Any type of food and any ambience. Please say what you like about it and what is your fave dish. Thanks, but I don't need any directories or links. I want individual opinions. I know the restaurant scene very well. Just looking for something I may have missed.

A: Fleming's. Hands down. Pricey, but excellent service, cool music, great lighting...AND YUMMY YUMMY FOOD!! My favorite thing to order is the bone-in ribeye. Their sides have a uniqueness to them, unlike most high-end steakhouses. Old favorites are given a unique flare. For example, mashed potatoes can be ordered with blue-cheese or garlic or parmesan-peppercorn. The macaroni is no regular mac and cheese, it's chipotle cheddar macaroni. Their desserts are awesome too, but my favorite is the creme brulee.
