Q: My husband and I are planning on checking out the Power and Light District for the first time. I looked at the Gordon Biersch menu on-line and it looked really good. Has anyone been here, and would you recommend it? What other places would be recommended? Any info would be appreciated. I would love to hear everyone's opinions. Thanks.
A: I haven't been to Biersch but I have heard good things. If you would be open to something a little less expensive and less formal, I highly recommend ChefBurger. http://www.chefburgerkc.com/ They have gourmet burgers and spiked milkshakes that are to die for! They come in un-spiked too if that's more your speed. And it might sound silly but Lucky Strike Lanes has great food too. http://www.bowlluckystrike.com/ It's not only a bowling alley, but a lounge, bar and restaurant and I have found it to be very entertaining and really quite classy. I have also heard Tengo Sed Cantina has delicious Latin food, but that the waits are very long unless you get there super early. Have fun!
