Q: I saw a report on CBS 13 that there could be a Golden Corral buffet restaurant opening on the property of what used to be the Regency XXX Theatre.. Is there any news about it, is it still opening up as GC? No, it is not anything like Sizzler. If you've had Hometown Buffet before, Golden Corral blows HTB out of the water!
A: i knew nothing myself about it, I have been to one once. It was okay. I would go again if it moves in up the street from my house. I looked it up and saw an article from January saying it might move in. No new updates. The article discussed there may be an issue with the sushi place next door that would have to move out too because they probably want the space for parking lot. They don't want to move and may have to go to court. That may cause a snag in the arrival of Golden Corral at least until the lawsuit plays out, I would have to guess a year if they don't find anouther location.
