A: Encinitas, like many San Diego Areas, is mixed income levels and is typically middle class. Below is a link to some of their school ratings, which are not bad for California. Also a link for crime stats. You should visit and live in ANY area before buying, just to see if it is for you. It is a nice area. Other nice places in that area are Carlsbad, Solana Beach, and Rancho Santa Fe.
