Q: Most of the time, you can double the sales tax and add a couple of dollars to tip your server around here. Tonight I noticed at this new restaurant that the sales tax was not 8.25% of the total bill (the total including the margaritas & beer we had). Any insight?

A: the sales tax on the drink is in the price so folks at the bar pay it also and the bar tender is not making change a lot
