A: I am pretty sure you mean take-out as when you go in & pick it up yourself. To be honest with you, it kind of confuses me too. Usually, if I go in & get it, I don't tip. If they bring it out to my car, I give them a $1-2 depending on how much I got. I don't see why you really need to tip since it's their job to do that. Many servers will argue with that, saying they have to take the time to put in the order, box it up, blah blah blah. As far as delivery I usually tip around $5. If it's really fast & was a big order I might give a little more. Just depends on my mood. I figure with the price of gas nowadays, giving $1-2 just seems ridiculous.
