A: While I concur on Tunnel Top Zietgeist is NOT a lounge for an anniverasy celebration. It is one step above a biker bar! Here are some more options: Jade Gough at McAllister. Cool drinks and eats [from adjoining Indigo] in a 2 level space with a waterfall at the street side to create an innovative space and experience. Ever wonder what having a drink at the base of stemware glass would be like? Visit Jardiniere, one of the best restaurants in SF. Cool jazz, good food, sit at the bar for the full experience. Absinthe on Hayes at Gough. A French inspired bistro. Try a nigroni, a winner at the bar! Sugar - a small intimate cool bar on Hayes between Gough and Franklin. Free happy hour eats on Friday. The original Tiki lounge complete with rainstorm, the Tonga Room! Brunos on Mission at 20th a jazz club and cool bar Bubble Lounge on Montgomery at Washington- wine and champagne bar Bix on Gold Alley just off Montgomery and Jackson another cool room with good jazz and good food.
