You've inspired me to spend all night answering all the questions I can with "use the internet"--since 99.9% of the what appears on Yahoo Answers can be found that way. The question before me asks what are good restaurants in Sunnyvale. I didn't notice--did you give him the same answer? Certainly he can find restaurants and reviews. He says he's interested in a particular area--I was going to suggest something that's still in Sunnyvale but a short drive. Incredible, food, (often) bad service, but well worth it. And he wouldn't get an answer like that by looking at Google maps. Some people still like getting the input of a "real"--if often anonymous person. Perhaps there's someone out there who knows of a grocery, that although smaller, has all sorts of food you can't find elsewhere. Maybe someone else knows the owners and they are really good people, so they want to promote their business. Personally, I like to hear from such people, and I know I'm not alone.
