Q: I'm thinking of applying for a job at Hooters during college. I'm very small: 5' 3", 105 pounds, and I'm a size 32B. I'm in good physical shape, but I'm also pretty pale. Does Hooters have height or bra size requirements, and do you think I could get a job there the way I look now? Thanks! A: Yes you could work there. It's a common misconception that you have to have a giant rack to work there. I've seen plenty of waitresses there who don't. So the way you look and your body will not be a problem, besides they can't discriminate like that. It would just be inviting a lawsuit. While some people may argue that, it is true. I also don't think you would be considered a whore just because you work there, the people who think that don't understand that it's not like you are sleeping with the customers. If you started to...well then maybe. Yes, the outfit is smaller than what you would wear at a restaurant, but more than you would wear to the pool for instance. What I would say is that it might help to have the self confidence beforehand. Lots of men are going to be drooling and staring at your "assets" That being said if you don't mind lots of men flirting with you and checking you out, you would probably make a lot more in tips then you would at a different restaurant. So yes, definitely, just realize what you are getting into, and if you do you'll be fine.
