Q: I'm traveling to De Soto in a couple of weeks. Looking for a good restaurant in the De Soto area or in Festus. We're staying on route 67, so Festus is just as close. Any suggestions?
A: I lived there for years and there isn't much to talk about. La Pachanga is a good Mexican Restaurant. Fazoli's Italian off of A Hwy and 67 near the Wal-Mart. You can go a few minutes further North on 67 and eat at Cracker Barrel in Herculaneum. Home Cooking with a craft store and all kinds of neat stuff.
