Q: Does the band play all night, or do they have a DJ and dancing in between?
A: Most often there are two or three bands on the same bill; opening bands may play 30 to 45 minute sets each before the headling act takes the stage. That said, I've been to performances with only one band playing over 2 hours with no opening act. Plus I've been to dance events at the 9:30 club where the deejays each played 45 minute sets. The club always plays recorded music between bands. Check out the schedule below to see how many bands are playing on any given night.
